Madox Technologies - Senior Software Engineer - C++ Programming

Job Summary :

- We are looking for a Senior Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in handling legacy products. Exposure into working on big products would be an added advantage.

- The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C++ and MFC Windows based applications.

- Strong hands-on experience in Core C++ (Advanced), OOP, STL, Multithreading and Debugging.

The candidate is expected to be involved in customer support cases and should possess :

- Ability to analyze customer problems.

- Debugging skills.

- Mandatory to have any debugging tool experience for analyzing Dump files from customers.

- Memory leak analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand, analyze, perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot customer issues

- Perform Memory profiling, Memory Management using relevant tools

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

- Interact consistently with customer and collaborate

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release validation.

- Improve test coverage, execution speed, and framework maintainability.

Required Skills :

Programming :

- Knowledge of OOP principles, STL, Multithreading, Debugging, Design patterns

- Hands on experience with MFC based windows applications

- Knowledge of Windows architecture, APIs, and desktop applications

Tools Required :

- Visual Studio

- Visual Studio Debugger or similar tools

Good to Have :

- Understanding and practical experience with COM components

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
