What Role Will You Play :

In this role, you will contribute to the uplift of our Secrets Management platform by delivering contemporary solutions across various workloads to manage Macquaries privileged accounts, unmanaged secrets, and access. You will help strengthen and enhance sustainable, effective controls across the organisation.

What You Offer :

- 4 to 9 years of experience in Java development with strong technical knowledge of REST-based microservice architecture design

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ReactJS, GoLang, Python, Bash, and SQL

- Expertise in cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and CI/CD pipeline tools

- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Terraform OS/Enterprise, and Camunda is advantageous

- Strong troubleshooting skills

- Design, develop, and maintain secure microservices that support the Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management ecosystem.

- Enhance platform reliability and security by implementing best practices in authentication, authorization, encryption, and key management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security architects, platform engineers, and application teams to integrate secure secrets workflows across applications.

- Contribute to the modernization of the secrets management platform, including migration of legacy components to contemporary frameworks and cloud-native solutions.

- Develop reusable components and internal libraries to standardize secrets handling across multiple business units.

- Perform in-depth root cause analysis and issue resolution for platform-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and strong preventive measures.

- Implement secure coding practices and ensure all components meet internal cybersecurity and compliance standards.

- Participate in platform architecture reviews and contribute towards improving scalability, performance, and resilience.

- Drive automation for secrets rotation, lifecycle management, and policy enforcement across the platform.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design diagrams, API specifications, integration guides, and troubleshooting playbooks.

- Support onboarding of new applications and teams to the secrets management platform through guidance, training, and best practices.
