Job Title: Cybersecurity User Access Management (UAM)

About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity User Access Management (UAM) specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative Technology division.
You will contribute to Macquaries UAM transformation journeyensuring employees receive seamless, secure access from day one while strengthening identity and access governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with Engineering Teams, Architects, and cross-functional squads to support UAM transformation initiatives.
- Drive end-to-end Identity & Access Management (IAM) delivery, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with solution architects to design, review, and implement access management solutions.
- Coordinate with agile teams and product owners for timely delivery, sprint planning, and backlog prioritisation.
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks, ensuring robust mitigation strategies.
- Improve operational processes and enhance identity governance lifecycle management.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement across global teams to align business, security, and technology goals.
- Leverage human-centered design (HCD) principles to optimise user access experiences.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 9 to12 years of total experience, including 46 years in IAM / Cybersecurity UAM transformation.
- Strong expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), access lifecycle, and identity workflows.
- Deep understanding of RBAC, ABAC, JML (JoinerMoverLeaver) lifecycle processes.
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or similar IGA platforms.
- Solid understanding of authentication & authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, SCIM, MFA.
- Experience working in agile environments, collaborating with engineering and architecture teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across geographies and domains.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, issue escalation, and operational improvement.
- Preferred experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) for access journey optimisation.
Preferred Technical Skills :
- Identity tools: SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk (for privileged access), Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta (plus point).
- Access governance: Role mining, role engineering, certification campaigns.
- Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, or similar for access automation.
- Cloud IAM exposure: AWS IAM, GCP IAM, Azure IAM.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes & ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
