Role Overview :

We are seeking a Principal Architect - Informatica MDM SaaS to serve as the technical authority and solution leader for our global MDM and data modernization programs.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, driving solution architecture, presales, technical delivery governance, and team enablement across the Informatica cloud ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep technical mastery, strategic vision, and enterprise data architecture experience to guide both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Solution Leadership :

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Informatica MDM SaaS (Customer 360 Cloud) and related IDMC services (CDI, CDQ, CAI).

- Define enterprise-level MDM strategies, integration blueprints, and technical frameworks supporting large-scale EDM initiatives.

- Architect data mastering, governance, and stewardship solutions integrating MDM with cloud data lakes, warehouses, and CRM/ERP ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP).

- Establish best practices and reusable frameworks for data modeling, match/merge, survivorship, workflow orchestration, and API integration.

- Evaluate and recommend technology stack enhancements to optimize scalability, performance, and interoperability.

Pre-Sales, RFPs & Solution Consulting :

- Partner with the sales and business development teams to support pre-sales engagements, RFP/RFI responses, and client solution workshops.

- Create high-level solution architectures, effort estimates, and technical proposals aligned with customer needs.

- Conduct product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution presentations showcasing LumenDatas MDM and Cloud Data expertise.

- Contribute to client presentations and solution differentiation during bidding cycles.

Technical Leadership :

- Serve as the technical principal, mentoring architects, Leads, and senior engineers across MDM, CDI, and CAI domains.

- Lead architecture reviews, design validations, and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards.

- Drive continuous improvement through technical accelerators, reusable assets, and internal enablement programs.

- Collaborate with client architects and program managers to ensure smooth project execution, quality assurance, and proactive issue resolution.

Innovation & Thought Leadership :

- Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud data management, Informatica SaaS evolution, and AI/ML-enabled data mastering.

- Define reference architectures, best practice frameworks, and governance models for enterprise data management initiatives.

- Represent LumenData in client forums, partner discussions, and technical community events as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12 - 18 years of experience in Enterprise Data Management, with 8+ years in Informatica MDM (Multidomain / Customer 360 / SaaS) is a must.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale MDM and data governance solutions using Informatica IDMC components (MDM SaaS, CDI, CDQ, CAI).

- Strong hands-on understanding of XQuery, XSD, match/merge logic, survivorship rules, REST APIs, and hierarchy management.

- Experience integrating MDM with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift).

- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and metadata management.

- Track record of leading technical pre-sales, RFPs, and client workshops.

- Proven ability to mentor, architect, and lead distributed technical teams.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience in migrating from on-prem Informatica MDM to Informatica Cloud MDM SaaS.

- Exposure to Informatica Axon, EDC, or Cloud Data Marketplace.

- Informatica Certified Professional (Cloud/MDM Architect) or equivalent.

- Experience supporting data strategy or data platform modernization programs at enterprise scale.
