Job Description :

- 4 - 6 years of hands-on QA experience testing production web applications, with ownership of test strategy and release quality, not only test execution.

Tech Stack & Requirements :

- Strong experience in test automation using Playwright or Cypress; should have built or maintained automation frameworks for evolving products.

- Strong API testing experience covering functional, negative, authentication/authorization, contract and edge-case scenarios.

- Hands-on coding experience in JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of SQL, Git and CI/CD is required. Python exposure is a plus.

- Experience with manual, exploratory and regression testing, including writing test plans, reproducing defects and validating fixes.

- Should have experience defining release readiness / quality gates and be comfortable taking ownership of whether a feature is ready to ship.

AI/LLM Testing :

- Exposure to testing AI/LLM-based products is strongly preferred, including challenges such as hallucinations, non-deterministic outputs, prompt/model changes and incorrect or unsupported responses.

- Understanding of RAG / retrieval-based systems and the ability to distinguish retrieval failures from generation failures is a strong advantage.

Additional Preferences :

- Experience testing authentication, authorization, access control and multi-tenant applications will be preferred.

- Exposure to performance/load testing or security testing using tools such as k6, JMeter, Locust or Burp Suite is a plus.

- Should be able to work as a senior individual contributor, independently owning QA for a fast-moving engineering/product team.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear bug reports, test cases/test plans and actionable reproduction steps.

- This is a contractual role; candidates should be comfortable joining for a fixed-term engagement and taking hands-on ownership from day one.
