Job Title : Loss Forecasting & Credit Strategy Analyst (Credit Card)

About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Loss Forecasting & Credit Strategy Analyst to support loss forecasting, reserve analytics, and credit strategy development for a US credit card portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and technical skills with a solid understanding of credit risk and card portfolio dynamics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain loss forecasting models using roll-rate, vintage, and CECL-aligned methodologies.
- Develop baseline and stress-scenario forecasts and analyze forecast vs. actual variances.
- Develop and evaluate credit strategies across line management, authorization, and collections.
- Assess the P&L, credit risk, and loss impact of proposed strategies.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario analysis.
- Translate analytical insights into actionable credit strategy recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business, risk, finance, and technology teams.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Credit Risk, Loss Forecasting, Credit Strategy, or related analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with US credit card portfolios on the issuing side - US bank, card issuer, fintech, or GCC/captive supporting a US card business.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for forecasting, data analysis, and scenario modelling.
- Working knowledge of CECL, stress testing, and reserve concepts; CCAR/DFAST exposure is an advantage.
- Experience applying AI/ML to forecasting, credit risk, or analytics is preferred.
- Strong Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, dashboards, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with US-based stakeholders and provide US business-hour overlap when required.
