Job Title : QA Engineer

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies. The QA Engineer will build and maintain scalable automation frameworks, perform manual and exploratory testing, and continuously improve QA methodologies. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders is essential to identify defects early and manage quality risks throughout the software development lifecycle.

For Senior QA Engineers, the role includes providing technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the overall test strategy to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and scripts covering functionality, performance, security, and scalability.

- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend services.

- Perform automated, manual, exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Conduct API testing, performance testing for scalability, and security testing aligned with best practices.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback loops and continuous improvement of QA processes.

- Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, encouraging a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

Requirements :

- 35 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Hands-on experience in developing test strategies and architecting automation frameworks.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

- Expertise with Playwright, Cucumber.js; familiarity with Selenium/WebDriver is a plus.

- Proficient with tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and k6.

- Experience with Jira, TestRail.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and cloud-based testing (AWS, GCP).

- Familiarity with OWASP ZAP is an advantage.

- Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
