About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled LAN & WiFi Engineer to support and manage our clients enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Aruba Central, Aruba/Cisco switches, and enterprise wireless deployments.
This role also involves designing and implementing new site networks and troubleshooting complex networking issues in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support and manage enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and deploy Aruba switches and wireless controllers for new site setups.
- Troubleshoot networking, wireless, and ISE-related issues.
- Apply firmware upgrades and patches to network devices (switches, APs, controllers).
- Analyze and resolve issues raised by end-users and integrated systems.
- Ensure network stability, performance tuning, and fault resolution.
- Assist in network documentation and follow ITIL-aligned processes.
What Were Looking For :
- 35 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering and support.
1. Strong hands-on experience with :
- Aruba Central for wireless and switch management
- Aruba and Cisco switches
- Wireless Access Points (APs) and Wireless Controller deployments
- Expertise in configuring, deploying, installing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network infrastructure.
2. In-depth knowledge of LAN switching technologies :
- VLANs, EtherChannel, PVLANs
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid STP
- 802.1Q trunking
- Experience with Infoblox (DHCP, DNS, IPAM).
- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools like HPE IMC and Zabbix.
- Good understanding of SNMP, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and PKI.
- Basic familiarity with Palo Alto firewall operations and routing concepts.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
- Proven ability to handle technical escalations and problem tickets professionally.
- Experience providing second-level support in large enterprise networks.
- Willingness and availability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
