Linux System Administrator

Job description :

- 2+. Experience with Linux, including system and network administration.

- Understanding of Linux clusters, compilers, schedulers and common HPC applications.

- Understanding of enterprise environments and datacenters.

- Experience writing shell scripts.

- Proven verbal and written communication skills with a track record of problem solving without escalations.

- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve issues.

- Experience in installation, configuration and support of Linux servers.

- Knowledge of Squid Proxy Server, Samba, FTP, NFS amp; DNS Servers.

- Familiar with Server log Management.

- Familiar with Systems Administration duties storage management, memory, hardware and software configuration.

- Willing to work in day/night shifts.

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) would be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Server hardware trouble-shooting and repair.

- Writing shell scripts.

- Installation, configuration and support of Linux servers.

- Server log Management.

- Systems Administration duties, storage management, hardware and software configuration.
