Job Title : Linux Server Management Administrator

Location : Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad (Onsite)

Experience Required : 36 years of proven experience in Linux Server Management & Administration.

Key Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience in Linux OS operations.

- Server (physical/VM) installation, maintenance & decommissioning.

- Knowledge of hypervisor operations (XEN, VMware).

- Proficiency in LVM, DNS, LDAP, IPTables.

- Strong troubleshooting skills in server downtime situations.

- Good understanding of physical server management.

- Working knowledge of at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Chef) and scripting.

- Flexible to work in 24x7 shift environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Deliver 3rd level technical support in compliance with customer SLAs.

- Handle daily compute operations (Events, Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests, RCA) following ITIL processes.

- Perform server installation, maintenance, monitoring, decommissioning, and special configurations beyond automated tasks.

- Support storage operations based on NetApp-NFS.

- Manage package/repository and maintain OS images.

- Execute patch management using BladeLogic Automation.

- Configure and roll out server-related monitoring/alerts.

- Conduct performance testing and analysis.

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer incidents.

- Maintain documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer for services/tasks.

- Assist 2nd-level technical support in handling complex issues.

- Be willing to participate in On-Call setup, including weekends or public holidays, if required by the project.
