Linux Platform Engineer :

Role Overview :

As a Linux Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining our robust Linux infrastructure.

Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting complex system issues, automating deployments, and ensuring the high availability and performance of our critical applications.

You will collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Your expertise will directly impact the stability and efficiency of our platform, enabling us to provide seamless services to our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and highly available Linux-based solutions to support business-critical applications.

- Automate system administration tasks, configuration management, and application deployments using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

- Manage and maintain large-scale Linux server environments, including RHEL, ensuring optimal performance, security, and stability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities to minimize downtime and maintain service levels.

- Implement and manage cluster technologies, including GPFS, to provide high availability and scalability for data-intensive applications.

- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting steps, to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient operations.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments at scale.

- Proven ability to automate system administration tasks and application deployments using Ansible.

- Strong understanding of cluster management concepts and experience with GPFS or similar distributed file systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
