LINUX ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced LAMP Engineer to manage Linux/UNIX systems, implement high-availability solutions, and ensure server and storage integrity and revamp database with strong backend knowledge. The role involves using monitoring tools like Grafana and Nagios, deploying automation software such as Puppet and Ansible, and administering virtualized environments with VMWare.

Linux/UNIX Administration : Manage Linux/UNIX operating systems in diverse environments.

System Monitoring : Utilize tools like Grafana and Nagios for monitoring systems, metrics, and creating dashboards.

Software Installation and Maintenance : Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Postfix, OpenLDAP, VMware, Puppet/Ansible, Saltstack, Git, and scripting languages such as PHP, Python, and Bash.

UNIX Systems Administration : Administer UNIX systems, including Ubuntu, MySQL, and MariaDB.

Virtualization Management : Perform virtualization administration using VMWare ESX and Vcenter.

Networked Computing : Understand and apply networked computing environment concepts.

CI/CD Methodologies : Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies in systems engineering.

Code Review : Conduct code reviews and use tools like GitHub and GitLab.

High Availability Systems : Design and implement highly-available systems and services.

Configuration Management : Deploy and maintain automated configuration management software such as Puppet or Ansible.

Virtualized Environments : Deploy and maintain virtualized environments using VMWare.

Server and Storage Management : Manage and ensure the integrity of servers, enterprise-class storage devices (SAN, NAS), multiple databases, and data transfer processes.

Backup and Restore : Configure, implement, and administer backup and restore processes.

Qualifications :

- BE/B.Tech/Masters in Computer Application OR equivalent with minimum of 05 years of experience.

- Able to revamp database with expert backend knowledge support

- Excellent communication skills(written and verbal )

- Able to handle multiple projects , stake holder relationship management.

- Proactive and persistent management style.

- Strong time management, organizational abilities and collaboration abilities
