Linux BSP Developer - Embedded System

Position : Linux BSP Lead / Embedded Software Engineer - Camera Systems

Experience : 4 - 8 Years

Location : Kochi, Ahmedabad, Manesar, Pune, Chennai, Pollachi

About the role :

Looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with Linux BSP, device driver, and camera experience to lead development of production-ready embedded Linux software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the software architecture for camera systems, focusing on performance, power efficiency, and scalability.

- Lead development of embedded software including firmware, drivers, and application software for cameras.

- Write, review, and optimize code for efficiency, reliability, and real-time performance.

- Implement real-time processing and control algorithms for camera systems.

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to the software development team.

- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience in C/C++-based software development.

- Hands-on experience with Linux BSP, device drivers, and embedded applications.

- Experience in new product board bring-up and production software delivery.

- Strong experience in embedded SW project execution, including architecture, schedule planning, task management, and risk mitigation.

- Experience leading embedded software teams.

- Strong understanding of camera concepts and camera product development.

- Expertise with Qualcomm / Ambarella / Nvidia / Ingenic / Sigmastar / TI / NXP chipsets.

- Experience in AI/ML cameras is highly desirable.
