Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator with strong skills in Ansible automation to join our infrastructure team based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and enhancing Linux environments, along with implementing infrastructure as code using Ansible.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments (RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu).

- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation of system provisioning, configuration, and deployments.

- Handle system upgrades, patches, and backups.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using standard tools.

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues in Linux environments.

- Work with teams to design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.

- Maintain configuration documentation and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration.

- Strong expertise in Ansible writing and managing playbooks, roles, inventory, etc.

- Experience with shell scripting (Bash); Python is a plus.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, IPtables).

- Basic understanding of virtualization and containers (Docker/KVM).

- Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of security best practices in Linux environments.
