We are seeking a skilled Linux Administration with hands-on experience in managing both Linux and Windows servers, performing vulnerability assessments, and supporting PostgreSQL replication. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to troubleshoot performance issues, support deployments, maintain system stability, and ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment and security hardening of both Linux and Windows servers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to resolve technical issues such as application slowness, database performance issues, and user logout problems.
- Manage data transfers, data updates, and data backups as required.
- Configure and maintain PostgreSQL Replication (Physical/Streaming & Logical).
- Configure and maintain SFTP / FTP services for secure file transfer.
- Perform daily system administration tasks on Linux & Windows, including :
1. LVM management
2. User & permission management
3. Filesystem & storage management
- Assist in deployment and rollout of new projects, applications, and databases.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve system-level alerts.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, change logs, and deployment records.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL administration & replication concepts.
- Experience with SFTP/FTP configuration and file transfer automation.
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment / patching / system hardening practices.
- Ability to analyze server performance and troubleshoot database & infrastructure-level issues.
- Familiarity with network basics (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, SSH).
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction & customer issue resolution.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Experience with Shell / Bash / PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
