Job Description

Description :

Lifesight is the Agentic Unified Marketing Measurement Platform.

We unify causal MMM, incrementality testing, and attribution into one system that marketing and finance teams trust - and that AI agents can call.

We're bootstrapped-to-scale and profitable.

Our products are agentic.

Our internal operations should be too.

Role Description :

You'll be a founding GTM Engineer at Lifesight, building the systems that help our marketing, sales, and customer success teams operate at 10.

You won't replace those teams - you'll give each person on them AI leverage backed by clean data, well-designed tooling, and agentic workflows.

GTM Engineer is a fairly new discipline.

Hybrid of software engineer, RevOps engineer, and agent builder.

You ship production code with Claude Code every week.

You work shoulder-to-shoulder with go-to-market teams - you're not a ticket-taker - and your work spans the entire customer lifecycle from first-touch to renewal.

What you'll own :

- The GTM data layer - a unified data service that mirrors Salesforce, HubSpot, call-intelligence platforms, analytics, and every ad platform into one queryable layer.

- Every AI agent and every GTM team reads from it.

- Pre-MQL systems - signal intelligence (external intent, competitor churn, funding events, job changes, community chatter), approval-gated AI outbound workflows, and owned-channel optimization agents across SEO, CRO, and paid media.

- Marketing content + campaign pipelines - AI-drafted blog pillars, newsletters, founder LinkedIn posts, ad creative, nurture sequences.

- Humans edit and approve; agents produce and ship on cadence.

- Post-MQL systems - integration with GTM OS (our internal revenue-lifecycle platform), call intelligence, deal-risk scoring, mutual action plan generation, renewal and expansion automation.

- Practical marketing measurement - an attribution layer that closes the loop on what's working, built on our live analytics and CRM stack.

- Internal tooling - small, sharp tools that replace spreadsheets and manual workflows across the GTM organization.

Your first major project will be leading our customer-acquisition and demand-gen transformation - shipping plumbing fixes, standing up the unified data layer, and getting the first production agents into the hands of our marketing and sales teams.

A design spec and implementation plan are already written; you'll pick up execution from day one.

You are :

A builder :

- You write code daily and you ship.

- You've built internal tools that real teams adopted.

A marketer :

- You know how marketing works and what needs to be done to build revenue pipeline and make profitable spend decisions.

A systems thinker :

- You see GTM as a graph of systems, not a funnel diagram.

- You know where leverage lives.

Comfortable with ambiguity :

- You design your way through under-specified problems and bring clarity back.

Opinionated about AI :

- You know the difference between AI-washed and genuinely agentic.

- You have a point of view on where LLMs help and where they don't.

Collaborative :

- You sit with a marketer, a salesperson, a CSM - understand their workflow, then automate the parts they shouldn't have to do manually.

You've done :

- 5+ years shipping software and working with GTM teams.

- Title doesn't matter - outcomes do.

- Built production systems in Python or TypeScript + SQL + REST APIs + webhooks.

- PostgreSQL experience required.

- Worked hands-on with Salesforce and HubSpot at admin + API level.

- Written real integrations, not just used the UI.

- Integrated at least one analytics or ad-platform API in production (GA4, GSC, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Bing Ads).

- Shipped something with the Claude or OpenAI API in production - not a demo, something that runs and produces real value.
