We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Production Support Engineer to take ownership of open banking platform stability, incident resolution, and technical support operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting microservices-based architecture, coordinating across teams, and ensuring system uptime and compliance with banking standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant field
- Act as the primary production support engineer for Open Banking, including handling after-hours support.
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for Open Finance applications.
- Successfully resolve technical incidents raised by TPPs, PASPs, and in SAMA Confluence.
- Monitor system alerts, application logs, and performance metrics to detect issues and prevent service interruptions.
- Perform incident analysis, recovery, and validation, collaborating with development, middleware, and infrastructure teams.
- Facilitate communication between Business and APIC teams for production support and DR (Disaster Recovery) activities.
- Support integrations of microservices hosted on OpenShift and related clusters.
- Assist with technical development for Open Banking programs.
- Support deployments, maintenance of environments, and DR operations following approved change management processes.
- Ensure end-to-end application stability, adherence to bank security guidelines, and operational standards.
- Generate and manage monthly SAMA APIC reports.
- Maintain detailed runbooks, deployment records, readiness checklists, and contribute to continuous service reliability and automation improvements.
