Senior Software Engineer (Java Backend)

Location : Chennai | Work Mode : Hybrid | Experience : 5 - 10 Years

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build high-performance backend and system-level software for machine control and inspection systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and working close to hardware and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop backend software using Java (primary) or C#.

- Translate system-level requirements into robust software design.

- Solve complex multi-process, multi-system problems in Windows / Java environments.

- Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from design to delivery.

- Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java.

- Solid understanding of Java fundamentals : OOPS, Data Structures, Multithreading, Design Patterns.

- Experience with backend frameworks and tools such as Apache Spark and Kafka.

- Unit testing using JUnit / NUnit.

- Good understanding of OS concepts and software development best practices.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to HPC systems.

- Knowledge of Linux and Win32.

- Experience in machine control or inspection software.
