About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Android Firmware Developer with strong expertise in Embedded C, Linux OTA, Bootloader, and Firmware Development. The role involves building robust firmware solutions for Android-based platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Android platforms.

- Work on Embedded C programming and low-level system integration.

- Develop and enhance Bootloader and OTA (Over-The-Air) update mechanisms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA) to deliver high-quality firmware solutions.

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization for embedded systems.

- Ensure security, performance, and reliability of firmware releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-7 years of proven experience in firmware development.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Embedded C programming.

2. Linux Kernel, Drivers, and OTA mechanisms.

3. Bootloader development and debugging.

- Hands-on experience with embedded platforms and system bring-up.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Android HAL layers and system services.

- Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS).

- Knowledge of security concepts in firmware development.
