Lead Workday Technical Consultant - HCM Configuration

Description :

Experience : 6 to 8 Years (Minimum 4 Years in Tenant Health & Transformation)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Workday tenant health assessment, optimization, and transformation activities to ensure system efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance.

- Design and implement Workday HCM configuration changes, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.

- Partner with functional and technical teams to identify and remediate configuration, integration, and performance issues.

- Develop and maintain Workday data integrity, security configurations, and business process frameworks.

- Conduct impact assessments, regression testing, and release management for Workday updates.

- Lead Workday tenant strategy including sandbox management, data migration, and deployment sequencing.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants on Workday best practices, standards, and system health monitoring.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Workday technical solutions.

- Manage Workday reporting and calculated fields, ensuring optimized performance and data availability.

- Support the ongoing automation, transformation, and optimization of Workday processes and integrations.

Technical Skills :

- Core Workday Expertise : Workday HCM Core Configuration, Workday Tenant Health & Transformation, Workday Business Process Framework (BPF), Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields & Custom Reports

- Technical Areas : Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors & Custom Integrations, XSLT, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs, Workday Security Framework, Workday Data Migration and Load Utilities, Workday Object Model & Business Process Flows

Additional Tools & Knowledge :

- Workday Extend (optional but preferred)

- Advanced Excel & Data Analysis tools

- Knowledge of testing tools (Workday Test Automation or similar)

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 6 to 8 years of Workday experience with at least 4 years in tenant health and transformation projects.

- Workday certification(s) in HCM Core, Integrations, or Reporting preferred
