Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web Development Architect / Team Lead to drive and oversee our web development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PHP (with strong OOP concepts), MySQL, Next.js, and core web technologies. This role demands strong technical design skills, server-side programming acumen, and experience with Linux-based deployments (preferably Ubuntu).

You will lead architectural decisions, build scalable and secure web applications, optimize infrastructure on cloud services (AWS), and guide a team of developers to execute with precision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

- Lead a team of developers, ensuring delivery quality, performance, and adherence to deadlines.

- Write and review clean, modular, and well-documented OOP-based PHP and Python code.

- Optimize complex SQL queries for performance and maintain database integrity.

- Manage Ubuntu/Linux-based web servers, Apache configurations, and deployment pipelines.

- Drive adoption of best practices in system design, coding standards, and DevOps.

- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Manage and integrate cloud infrastructure (AWS, S3, CDN, EC2, RDS, etc.) to support web applications.

- Troubleshoot issues across the full stack from browser to backend services.

- Review team code, mentor developers, and set a high technical bar.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on web development experience.

- Strong command over PHP(OOPS essential), MySQL, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.

- Experience with Python and integration of services using REST APIs.

- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.

- Expertise in working with Ubuntu/Linux servers, Apache, and system-level debugging.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, etc.).

- Experience with CDN, code versioning tools (Git), and deployment automation.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in microservices and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to frontend frameworks beyond Next.js is a plus (e.g., React, Vue).

- Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer tech, or scalable B2C platforms.
