We are seeking an experienced Lead Tester for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Model Testing to oversee design, execution, and management of testing activities for AML models, particularly within Actimize Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) systems.

The role ensures models are accurate, robust, compliant with regulatory standards, and effective in detecting suspicious financial activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead AML model testing initiatives, focusing on Actimize SAM models.

- Design, execute, and manage testing strategies to ensure models meet regulatory and operational standards.

- Validate model accuracy, robustness, and performance, including machine learning/statistical models where applicable.

- Collaborate with model development and risk teams to identify and mitigate model risks.
- Ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations and relevant regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, OCC, FATF).

- Mentor and guide testing teams to maintain high-quality standards and best practices.

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, test plans, and reports for audits and regulatory reviews.

- Utilize SQL, Python, SAS, R and other relevant tools for model testing and validation.

- Apply deep understanding of AML concepts, transaction monitoring, model lifecycle, SDLC, and testing methodologies.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, with at least 3 years focused on financial crime or AML systems.

- Hands-on experience in Actimize SAM model testing.

- Strong understanding of AML concepts, transaction monitoring, model risk management, and regulatory frameworks.

- Experience testing machine learning/statistical models preferred.

- Solid knowledge of SDLC, model lifecycle, and testing methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring testing teams.
