Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Lead SQL Developer with 1015 years of expertise in designing, modeling, and implementing large-scale, high-performance data architectures.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud-based database solutions, with a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and secure data ecosystems that support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable database solutions aligned with organizational data strategy and business goals.

- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or SQL Developer Data Modeler.

- Define, document, and enforce data architecture standards, governance policies, and best practices.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet performance and scalability needs.

- Design and optimize data warehousing solutions using dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon) and relational modeling principles.

- Work with cloud-based database technologies such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or equivalent platforms.

- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Informatica, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies.

- Evaluate existing data architectures to identify areas for improvement, cost optimization, and performance tuning.

- Support data governance, metadata management, and ensure adherence to organizational data standards.

- Operate within an Agile/DevOps environment, contributing to CI/CD practices for data solutions.

- Partner with stakeholders and leadership to translate business requirements into technical data architecture solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1015 years of hands-on experience in database architecture, data modeling, and data warehouse design.

- Proven expertise in Erwin, ER/Studio, or SQL Developer Data Modeler for complex modeling.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and relational database concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL / AWS RDS / cloud-based databases.

- Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks (Informatica, Azure Data Factory, etc.

- Solid knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
