Job Description

Role & responsibilities :



- Responsible for building and continuously improving cloud-based SaaS applications



- Works closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and SQA to ensure smooth integration and delivery in an agile setup.



- Ensures all code meets organizational standards for security, performance, and reusability.



- Applies modern frameworks and tools to deliver a consistent and user-friendly experience across platforms.



- Handles testing activities such as unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution to maintain product quality.



- Reviews code changes, evaluates their impact on existing functionality, and maintains proper technical documentation.



- Takes ownership of identifying and implementing improvements, including refactoring large modules and supporting deployment.



- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow technically.



- Drives a culture of quality by conducting regular code reviews and sharing actionable feedback.



- Promotes innovation within the team by encouraging experimentation with new tools and development approaches.



Required skills :



- Overall 6+ years of professional experience in software development.



- Strong frontend expertise with ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript (around 4+ years of hands-on work).



- Solid experience in backend and cloud development, using technologies such as Node.js, Express, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, AppSync, and GraphQL.



- Good understanding of database systems, including both relational and NoSQL; experience with DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora, or similar platforms is expected.



- Prior experience in leading or mentoring a team of engineers (approximately 2+ years).



- Proficiency in building and managing Single Page Applications (SPA).



- Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms, caching techniques, and API security practices.



- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git (GitHub), AWS CodeCommit, or SVN.



- Comfortable working in an agile development environment with cross-functional teams.
