Lead Software Development Engineer - Java/J2EE

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the complete process of designing, developing, and deploying Java/J2EE applications

- Build systems that are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain

- Help the team use modern tools, frameworks, and best development practices

- Work closely with business teams, product managers, and other architects to understand needs and plan solutions

- Review code and make sure it meets quality, performance, and security standards

- Fix major technical issues in different environments

- Be actively involved in Agile/Scrum meetings, and help in sprint planning and task estimation

- Support and guide junior and mid-level developers

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8- 12 years of hands-on experience in Java development

- Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies

- Good experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA

- Experience in building and using REST APIs, SOAP services

- Strong skills in SQL and working with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

- Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (like MongoDB or Cassandra) is a plus

- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle

- Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, Docker containers, and Kubernetes

- Experience with application performance tuning and designing systems that can handle large user traffic

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
