Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead Software Developer to drive the development of our React-based frontend applications. In this role, you will lead a team of frontend developers, define architecture standards, ensure code quality, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities :

- Frontend Development Leadership : Lead the design, development, and deployment of React-based frontend applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Architectural Decisions : Drive technical design and architectural decisions for new features, refactoring, and enhancements to ensure robustness and scalability.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

- Code Quality & Best Practices : Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, ensure maintainable and reusable code, and drive testing and quality assurance practices.

- Team Mentorship : Mentor and guide frontend developers through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and performance feedback. Build a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers.

- Innovation & Technology Awareness : Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and introduce new tools and approaches where applicable.

- Project Delivery : Ensure timely delivery of frontend components while balancing technical debt and long-term scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 811 years of professional experience in frontend/web development with at least 35 years in React.js.

- Frontend Expertise : Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, Hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, etc.).

- Web Technologies : Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and cross-browser compatibility.

- API Integration : Experience working with RESTful APIs, asynchronous data handling, and integrating third-party services.

- Testing & Debugging : Hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar; strong debugging skills.

- Version Control & CI/CD : Proficiency with Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

- Problem-solving & Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

- Team Leadership : Prior experience leading a team of frontend developers, mentoring junior engineers, and conducting code reviews.

- Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js.

- Experience with state management libraries like Zustand, Recoil, or MobX.

- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.

- Exposure to design systems, component libraries, and UI frameworks.
