Description :

Role : Lead Software Architect.

Location : Remote(India).

Experience : 5+ Years as a lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Own architecture for File Stack, including service design and cross-service dependency management.

- Drive infrastructure modernization: coordinate Python version upgrades, AWS service alignment, and staged dependency resolution across production, staging, and test environments.

- Standardize AI-accelerated development practices at the team level build shared prompt context and reduce siloed experimentation.

- Provide technical mentorship to the India-based engineering team, supporting a strong but over-extended current architect.

- Identify cross-service risks and sequence upgrade paths that do not break interdependencies.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

- Strong command of JavaScript (core), Python, and Go Lang.

- Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL hands-on production experience required.

- AWS infrastructure: EC2, S3, RDS, and related services in a multi-environment deployment context.

- Demonstrated use of AI tools (specifically Claude) as a force multiplier in design, planning, and code review not just code generation.

- Experience untangling infrastructure debt and dependency chains on live SaaS systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- 5+ years as a software architect on production SaaS products.

- Proven ability to work on lean teams with high ownership expectations.

- Comfort operating in environments without escalation layers you make decisions and communicate them clearly.

NICE TO HAVE :

- Prior experience with developer tooling or API-centric platforms.

- Exposure to file transformation systems or media processing workflows.

- Experience in budget-constrained environments where infrastructure cost decisions have direct visibility.
