Lead SOC Analyst (Microsoft Sentinel Specialist)

We are hiring for one of our leading clients in the Cyber Security domain and looking for an experienced Lead SOC Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Security Operations.

Location : Bangalore (Work from Office)

Experience : 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead day-to-day Security Operations Center (SOC) activities

- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environments

- Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft Sentinel analytics rules, workbooks, playbooks, and automation rules

- Drive proactive threat hunting and advanced threat detection initiatives

- Enhance threat detection capabilities using Microsoft Defender XDR ecosystem

- Perform incident response, forensic investigations, and root cause analysis

- Improve MITRE ATT&CK coverage and alert tuning strategies

- Mentor and guide SOC Analysts (L1/L2) while providing technical leadership

- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to strengthen security posture

Technical Skills Required :

- Microsoft Sentinel

- Kusto Query Language (KQL)

- Microsoft Defender Suite :

1. Defender for Endpoint (MDE)

2. Defender for Identity (MDI)

3. Defender for Office 365 (MDO)

4. Defender for Cloud (MDC)

- SIEM / SOAR Technologies

- Threat Hunting & Incident Response

- MITRE ATT&CK Framework

- Azure Logic Apps & Security Automation

- Security Monitoring & Threat Intelligence

Preferred Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)

- Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)

- Other Cyber Security Certifications will be an added advantage

What We're Looking For :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel

- Expertise in threat detection, investigation, and incident response

- Experience handling phishing attacks, APTs, lateral movement, and data exfiltration incidents

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
