Job Description

Skill Combination :


- Azure Data Engineer + Python + Snowflake + DevOps


Key Responsibilities :


Python API Development & Automation :


- Develop Python programs to interact with API endpoints programmatically.


- Apply full software engineering lifecycle : packaging, unit/integration testing, CI/CD integration, and artifact deployment.


- Maintain code in version control, manage dependencies, and publish to repositories.


End-to-End Engineering :


- Write Terraform and other IaC scripts as part of solution delivery.


- Integrate infrastructure provisioning, data workflows, and testing into CI/CD pipelines.


- Extend and maintain automated test harnesses and data validation frameworks.


Snowflake Development :


- Design, build, and optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and stored procedures.


- Work with Snowsight for advanced analytics and performance tuning.


- Implement data security, governance, and access controls.


Leadership & Mentorship :


- Review code, Terraform scripts, and automation frameworks from mid/junior engineers.


- Provide architectural guidance, design reviews, and pull request approvals.


- Promote engineering best practices and lead design discussion


Required Experience :


- 8+ years in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in Snowflake.


- Strong Azure Data Engineering background (ADF, Databricks, data lake integration preferred).


- Proven track record in Python development with API integration and automation.


- Solid DevOps experience Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, infrastructure automation, cloud deployments.


- Skilled in Terraform for Azure resource provisioning.


- Experience with test automation frameworks for data pipelines and APIs.


- Strong communication and leadership skills for guiding technical teams.
