Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Lead ServiceNow Developer to architect, govern, and evolve our enterprise ServiceNow platform in alignment with the Global ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE).

The role demands deep technical leadership, strong architectural capabilities, and the ability to drive platform adoption, governance, and optimization across a regional landscape.

The ideal candidate will ensure delivery excellence and contribute to business transformation initiatives using the full capabilities of the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

Platform Architecture & Governance :

- Lead the end-to-end technical strategy and architectural roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with the Global CoE.

- Define, implement, and maintain platform standards, governance frameworks, development guidelines, reusable patterns, and coding best practices.

- Blueprint and document the complete application architecture, ensuring scalable, compliant, and future-proof implementations.

- Conduct technical design reviews to validate solution quality, alignment with standards, and adherence to architectural principles.

- Govern the regional ServiceNow Factory operating model to ensure compliance, performance, scalability, and lifecycle sustainability.

Technical Leadership & Delivery Excellence :

- Provide hands-on leadership to the ServiceNow Factory team, enabling delivery of complex configurations, customizations, integrations, and automation.

- Design reusable assets, accelerators, components, and frameworks to support API integrations and enterprise workflow solutions.

- Guide teams on advanced development constructs (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Scoped Applications, Configuration Management, scripting, MID Server integrations, etc.

- Evaluate IT4IT and business workflows for technical feasibility and drive backlog prioritization at the regional level.

- Lead the delivery of enhancements, new feature development, and platform evolution initiatives.

Operations & Platform Reliability :

- Ensure world-class RUN operations, including stability, availability, and secure performance of the platform.

- Participate in and support major upgrades, patch cycles, global CoE initiatives, platform maintenance, and release management activities.

- Maintain and evolve a comprehensive ServiceNow knowledge base to support user adoption and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement :

- Collaborate closely with IT leadership, enterprise architects, delivery managers, and business stakeholders to drive adoption and value realization.

- Map IT4IT processes (Strategy to Portfolio, Demand to Project, ITSM, APM, Governance, Security & Compliance) into ServiceNow capabilities and identify gaps.

- Deliver training sessions, demos, and platform capability showcases for regional and global stakeholders.

- Assess and document the business impact and transformation outcomes enabled by ServiceNow solutions.

- Act as a regional SME, contributing to global working groups, design forums, and cross-functional knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Technical Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in technical consulting or managerial roles with strong exposure to enterprise platforms.

- 10+ years of dedicated hands-on ServiceNow experience as a platform owner, platform manager, product owner, architect, or lead developer.
