Role : Lead / Senior Informatica CDI Consultant

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned and highly technical Senior Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) Consultant with 8 to 10 years of overall ETL experience, including deep functional specialization in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) / IDMC.

In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and technical lead, driving the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native data pipelines. You will be instrumental in migrating legacy on-premise data integration workflows (such as PowerCenter) into Informatica CDI, ensuring high-performance data processing across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Pipeline Design : Architect, design, and develop complex end-to-end data integration pipelines using Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration) and CAI (Cloud Application Integration).

- Migration Strategy : Lead legacy ETL migration assessments and execute the seamless transition of on-premise PowerCenter workflows or other legacy data stacks to IICS / IDMC.

- Advanced Transformation : Design and configure advanced transformations, synchronization tasks, mapping configurations, linear taskflows, and parallel task processing.

- Performance Tuning : Optimize IICS mapping and taskflow performance, fine-tune Secure Agent configurations, and troubleshoot complex data throughput bottlenecks.

- Cloud Platform Integration : Connect and integrate Informatica CDI with various cloud data warehouses and ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Google BigQuery).

- Data Governance & Security : Enforce best practices for error handling, auditing, data quality, security parameterization, and secure agent clustering.

- Technical Leadership : Mentor junior developers, conduct stringent code reviews, establish deployment standards (CI/CD for IICS), and collaborate closely with enterprise data architects and stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills & Experience :

- Overall Experience : 8 to 10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT development.

- Informatica Expertise : Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience exclusively with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) / IDMC, focusing heavily on Cloud Data Integration (CDI).

- Database & SQL Mastery : Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and understanding cloud data warehouse architectures (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

- Integration Patterns : Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML parsing, and microservices architecture using Informatica CAI or API management modules.

- Environment Management : Solid experience configuring and maintaining Informatica Secure Agents (including group clusters and high availability setup) on Linux/Windows environments.

- Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell scripting or Python for pre/post-session automation and operational task scheduling.

Qualifications & Soft Skills :

- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications (Highly Preferred) :

- Informatica Cloud Data Integration Professional Certification.

- Cloud Platform certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, or Snowflake SnowPro Core).

- Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex data architecture to non-technical business stakeholders.

- Problem Solving : Strong analytical mindset capable of debugging sophisticated data synchronization issues across distributed systems.
