Job Description :

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer with strong experience in BFSI/banking applications, QA strategy, test automation, and end-to-end testing. The role will lead QA activities, drive quality engineering practices, and manage testing teams across complex applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, processes, and quality standards across projects.

- Lead end-to-end testing activities covering functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.

- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and other relevant automation tools.

- Develop and execute API testing strategies and automated API test suites.

- Identify and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

- Drive test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and release readiness.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote continuous testing practices.

- Review test cases, automation scripts, test results, and defect reports to ensure quality standards.

- Identify quality risks, track issues, and drive timely resolution with development and business teams.

- Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers and coordinate testing activities across multiple teams.

- Collaborate with Product, Development, Business, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

Required Skills :

- 8 - 12 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance, with 3+ years in a QA Lead or equivalent leadership role.

- Strong experience in BFSI/Banking domain applications.

- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.

- Proficiency in Selenium and test automation frameworks.

- Strong experience in API testing and end-to-end testing.

- Experience defining QA strategies, test plans, and quality processes.

- Good understanding of NFR testing and quality engineering practices.

- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong defect management, root-cause analysis, and release management experience.

- Proven team leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
