Lead QA Engineer

Location : Kochi | Experience: 912 Years.

Role Overview :

Seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to define and drive QA strategy across mobile and web applications.

The role involves leading a QA team, managing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor QA teams across projects.

- Define QA processes and automation strategies.

- Develop and execute test plans for Web & Mobile (Android/iOS).

- Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Java).

- Ensure test coverage via specification reviews and backend validation (SQL).

- Manage defects and ensure timely resolution.

- Drive QA process improvements and tool adoption.

- Support Agile teams in sprints and ceremonies.

Required Skills :

- 912 years in QA with Web/Mobile testing experience.

- Proven leadership in QA strategy and execution.

- Strong hands-on with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Java.

- Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.

- SQL expertise for data validation.

- Agile/Scrum experience; exposure to CI/CD and Azure DevOps.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred :

- Degree in CS/IT or related field.

- ISTQB or similar certification.

- Exposure to performance, API, or security testing.
