About the Role :

We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to define and own the quality strategy across our B2B AI SaaS platform. This is a technical role where you will design, implement, and maintain the automation frameworks that guarantee the reliability, performance, and correctness of our enterprise-grade software. You will embed quality early in the development lifecycle (Shift-Left), mentor junior engineers, and drive a culture where automated testing is a core engineering practice.

Key Technical Responsibilities :

1. Automation Framework Design and Development :

Architecture : Design and implement a scalable, robust, and cost-effective end-to-end automation framework from scratch (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium) using Java or Python.

API Testing : Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for RESTful/gRPC APIs, ensuring the reliability of data contracts and backend microservices.

Performance Testing : Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests (JMeter, LoadRunner) to validate system scalability and identify bottlenecks before production deployment.

2. Quality Strategy and CI/CD Integration :

DevOps Integration : Integrate all automated test suites seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring every commit is rigorously tested and providing fast, actionable feedback to developers.

Test Planning : Lead test strategy definition for complex, cross-functional features, including boundary conditions, security testing requirements, and data validation for AI model integration.

Non-Functional Testing : Define and execute tests for security (basic penetration testing, vulnerability analysis) and accessibility (WCAG compliance) to meet strict enterprise client standards.

3. Leadership and Mentorship :

Mentorship : Act as the technical lead for QA engineers, setting coding standards for test automation and driving the adoption of best-in-class testing practices.

Test Data Management : Design and implement strategies for managing complex, masked, and realistic test data required for testing AI-driven features in a B2B context.

What You'll Bring (Mandatory Skills & Experience)

Educational Excellence : B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline from an IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, or IIIT is mandatory.

Experience : 4-7 years of dedicated experience in QA Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on architecting and leading test automation efforts in a product company.

Core Stack : Expert proficiency in developing automation scripts and frameworks using Java or Python and a modern automation tool (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).

Systems : Strong understanding of databases (SQL), CI/CD tools, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

Domain : Experience testing complex, data-driven, or distributed systems (SaaS or FinTech domain preferred).

Logistics and Compensation :

Location : This is a Hybrid Work position based in Bangalore only. No WFH/Remote options are available.

Compensation : Highly competitive compensation package in the range of - 40 LPA - 65 LPA + significant ESOPS, commensurate with expertise in designing enterprise-grade automation systems.
