Lead Product Designer - Prototyping Tools

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Designer with a strong background in B2C or B2B2C product design. The ideal candidate will bring both deep design expertise and proven team leadership experience, driving end-to-end design initiatives while managing and scaling a high-performing team. This role requires strong project management capabilities, hands-on design experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design vision, strategy, and execution for consumer-facing digital products (B2C /

B2B2C).

- Manage and mentor a team of product designers, ensuring growth, performance, and delivery quality.

- Translate complex business needs into intuitive, user-centric design solutions.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver seamless

product experiences.

- Drive and own the design lifecycle: research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and

final delivery.

- Utilize Jira (or similar project management tools) to manage design projects, sprint planning, and team priorities efficiently.

- Establish and uphold design standards, processes, and best practices across the organization.

- Work with leadership to align design objectives with business goals and product strategy.

- Present design work and articulate design decisions effectively to stakeholders and executives.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and user empathy within the design team.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in Product Design, with significant contributions to B2C or B2B2C digital products.

- Currently in a Manager / Staff or above designation (not IC level).

- Mandatory: At least 2+ years of recent hands-on team management experience as a Design Manager/Lead (beyond mentoring).

- Strong expertise in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.) and managing

cross-functional workflows.

- Proven experience in designing for web and mobile platforms with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful work.

- Ability to balance design quality with business priorities and technical constraints.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving clarity and structure.
