Lead Product Designer - Figma

Job Description :

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to drive end-to-end product design across web and mobile platforms. This role requires strong product thinking, user-centered design expertise, and the ability to collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.

You will own key user journeys, define design standards, and ensure experiences are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with business goals. As a design leader, you will balance craft excellence, strategic thinking, and team mentorship, while using data and user insights to continuously improve product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Design & User Experience :

- Lead the end-to-end design process across discovery, concepting, prototyping, validation, and delivery.

- Design intuitive and elegant user experiences for core product workflows, including onboarding, engagement, and key feature journeys.

- Translate complex business requirements and user needs into clear, user-centric design solutions.

- Ensure consistency, usability, and scalability across the product ecosystem.

Design Strategy & Impact :

- Partner with Product Managers to define experience strategy aligned with product vision and roadmap.

- Use qualitative and quantitative insights (user research, analytics, feedback) to inform design decisions.

- Optimize user flows and interfaces to improve usability, engagement, and overall product effectiveness.

- Contribute to outcome-driven design by tracking post-launch performance and iterating based on insights.

Design Systems & Quality :

- Own and evolve the design system, patterns, and reusable components.

- Establish and maintain high standards for visual design, interaction design, and accessibility.

- Ensure smooth design-to-development handoff and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Act as a design lead within cross-functional teams, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing.

- Mentor and guide designers by providing feedback, design reviews, and best practices.

- Advocate for user-centered design and influence stakeholders through strong storytelling and rationale.

Required Qualifications :

- 5- 9 years of experience in Product Design / UX Design, with experience owning complex products.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, problem-solving, and measurable product impact.

- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

- Experience designing for web and mobile platforms at scale.

- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility standards.

- Ability to work with data, user research, and product metrics to inform decisions.

- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience working on SaaS, consumer tech, or subscription-based products.

- Familiarity with experimentation, usability testing, and iterative design practices.

- Exposure to design systems in large or fast-scaling organizations.

- Experience designing for global or diverse user bases.

- Background in mentoring or leading other designers.
