About the Role :

As a Lead Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design process across multiple product initiatives from concept to execution.

You will lead user-centered design strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor designers to create elegant, intuitive, and impactful user experiences.

This role requires deep expertise in Figma, strong leadership in design thinking, and the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Youll be instrumental in shaping the visual language, usability, and overall design direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities :

Design Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead the product design vision, strategy, and execution across one or more product lines.

- Define and uphold a consistent design system and visual language in Figma that scales across platforms.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to align design decisions with product strategy and business goals.

- Champion user-centered design principles and ensure every product decision is backed by user research and data.

- Drive design critiques, reviews, and feedback sessions to maintain design quality and consistency.

Hands-on Product Design :

- Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and UI mockups using Figma, from concept through final implementation.

- Design for both web and mobile experiences, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions.

- Translate complex product requirements into simple, elegant, and engaging user interfaces.

- Work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and maintain design intent throughout development.

Collaboration & Mentorship :

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering a culture of creativity, learning, and excellence.

- Partner with design leadership to refine design processes, workflows, and best practices.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver cohesive and delightful experiences.

- Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and advocate for user needs in product discussions.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in UI/UX or product design, with at least 23 years in a senior or lead design role.

- Proven experience designing complex digital products or platforms (B2B SaaS, consumer apps, or enterprise software).

- Experience leading design initiatives from concept to launch and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Technical & Design Skills :

- Expert-level proficiency in Figma components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and collaborative features.

- Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.

- Strong command of design systems, typography, color theory, iconography, and layout.

- Experience with user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing, journey mapping).

- Familiarity with design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Inspect, or Dev Mode).

- Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus for collaboration.

- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
