About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer (Lead) to drive the frontend architecture and standards for our modern web platform. You will lead strategic technical initiatives, mentor cross-functional teams, and champion best practices in scalable frontend development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of frontend architecture, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and scalability.

- Define and enforce design standards, coding guidelines, and architectural patterns across teams.

- Take ownership of Micro-Frontend Architecture strategies and integrations.

- Drive excellence in React and TypeScript development for complex Single Page Applications (SPAs).

- Mentor, coach, and guide engineering teams on best practices and emerging frontend technologies.

- Collaborate with product, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery across the stack.

- Establish and govern CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and release processes.

- Promote adoption of test automation (e.g., Playwright) and code quality tools like SonarQube and AppScan.

- Contribute to the evolution of internal tools, frameworks, and reusable component libraries.

- Provide technical leadership in architectural reviews and decision-making forums.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Expert in React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of modern SPA development.

- Proven experience in Micro-Frontend Architecture.

- Familiarity with Headless CMS concepts and integration patterns.

- Strong background with AWS services in a production environment.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

- Hands-on with end-to-end and UI automation testing tools such as Playwright.

- Experience with static analysis, security, and code quality tools (SonarQube, AppScan).

- Solid understanding of CI/CD governance, release automation, and DevOps culture.
