Platform Engineering Lead/Manager

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a high-performance platform engineering team.

- Define and execute platform roadmap aligned with business and technology goals.

- Design, build, and maintain core platform components : infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security controls.

- Promote DevOps best practices : Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, continuous integration/delivery.

- Collaborate with product teams to provide robust platform tools and support.

- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

- Troubleshoot platform issues and implement effective solutions.

- Hire, mentor, and manage performance of platform engineers.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform architecture and processes.

- Stay updated with latest platform engineering technologies and trends.

What Were Looking For :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Experience in managing engineering teams, with hands-on platform engineering.

- Strong cloud expertise : AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and principles (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).

- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

- Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and GitOps methodologies (preferred).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Programming languages : Python, .NET, Java, or similar.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.

- SaaS product experience is a plus.
