Lead MERN Stack Engineer

A Lead/ML -MERN Stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the MERN stack, which is a combination of technologies including MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

Role & responsibilities :

- Design and document end to end workflow and feature requirements

- Contribution in providing solutions for given problem statements.

- Independently design, develop, modify, implement and support software components.

- Analyze & determine root cause for the complex software issues and develop practical,

efficient, and permanent technical solutions.

- Assist in task planning, estimation & scheduling.

- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint.

- Strong experience in team handling and client interaction.

- Follow best software development practices, established processes, determine process

improvements, and perform code audits with ensuring best security practices.

- Work closely with Senior Engineers for Sprint Planning & Delivery.

- Coordinate with Architect, Product & other stakeholders as required and Collaborate well with DevOps, UI/UX Designers, and Testers to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient

systems.

- Mentor Junior Software Engineers for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and leading technical sessions to drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and team growth.

- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges while mentoring junior

developers and communicating project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Actively participate during Scrum ceremonies : planning, backlog refinement, dailies, retrospective, release.

- Contribute to the overall team's success during all phases of the software development life cycle.

- Integrate AI/ML tools into the product stack to accelerate development and boost productivity.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Candidate with 4+ Years of experience in MERN Stack.

- Strong hands-on experience in Front End Technologies : HTML, CSS, React Js, Typescript, Next Js, XML, JQuery.

- Strong hands-on experience in Backend Technologies : Node.js , Express/Nest js, REST APIs,

Microservices, ORM.

- Good experience in various DB : MongoDB, MySQL, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Firebase.

- Experience in Code Versioning : Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, CDN.

- Should have knowledge of Unit Test frameworks.

- Experience working on SEO, and Website Performance Enhancement.

- Experience with integration of third-party APIs like Google APIs, stripe, AWS services,

socket.io, etc

- Experience in formulating deployment strategies on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
