Role Overview:

As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions and Machine Learning Ops , directly impacting our product roadmap and driving significant business value.

As a Subject Matter Expert, and as You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate complex business problems into innovative AI-powered products.

Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI initiatives, enhancing user experiences, and optimizing business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models,MLOps and AI-driven applications to address critical business challenges and improve product performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Mentor and guide junior machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

- Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and technologies to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our AI solutions.

- Drive the end-to-end AI product development lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating informed decision-making and stakeholder alignment.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve our products and processes.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, implementing robust data governance practices to protect sensitive information.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning techniques, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and design scalable and robust AI solutions.

- A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.

- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Mumbai.
