Lead Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer to join our development team.

You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing robust back-end systems, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring, has strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and system requirements.

- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices.

- Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues.

- Participate in planning, estimation, and project management discussions.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose their adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.

- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.

- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
