Position Title : Lead IT Architect - SAP S/4HANA (FICO)
Location : New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, India

About the Role :
As an ERP Architect, you will manage and deliver ERP projects across a wide range of industries and sectors. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, partners, and project teams to plan, execute, and monitor project activities, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to business development, practice building, and thought leadership within the ERP/SCM domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end ERP projects from scoping and planning through execution and delivery.
- Coordinate project activities including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Manage project resourcesconsultants, analysts, developers, testersensuring optimal allocation and performance.
- Oversee project budget, timeline, scope, quality, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders on project objectives, status, progress, and outcomes.
- Align project deliverables with client requirements, expectations, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and industry norms.
- Provide thought leadership on ERP trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to potential clients.
- Contribute to practice building through knowledge asset development, training, and mentoring of junior team members.
- Engage in commercial negotiations related to licensing and contribute to strategies for cost reduction and Capex/Opex optimization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key concerns throughout ERP/FICO cycles.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelors or masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting, with at least 5 years in managing and delivering large-scale ERP projects.
- Hands-on experience implementing ERP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Workday HCM.
- Deep functional and technical expertise in ERP modules such as FICO, PP, MM, SD, PM, PS within SAP S/4HANA or equivalent in other ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles including data, application, infrastructure, digital, IoT, Industry 4.0, and visualization.
- Proven project management skills in planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving abilitiesboth analytical and creativewith a capacity for innovative solutioning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required by client engagements.
- Familiarity with SCMAPS processes and tools in Demand, Supply, Inventory, and S&OP planning, integrated with ERP solutions.
- Ability to articulate functional challenges and propose viable solution options.
- Industry expertise in at least one of the following :
1. Discrete Manufacturing (Automotive/Industrial Goods)
2. Mill and Mining
3. Process Industries (Oil & Gas, Pharma, Life Sciences)
