Position Summary :

BlitzenX is hiring a Lead Guidewire BillingCenter Developer to drive enterprise-grade development and release execution across Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud.

This role goes beyond configuration it requires someone who can lead merge cycles, resolve production-grade issues, support CI/CD pipelines, and mentor developers in a cloud-native environment.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on in BillingCenter development while also providing technical leadership within a global, Agile delivery team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute monthly merges from InsuranceSuite 10 into Guidewire Cloud environments, ensuring alignment with release targets.

- Develop and enhance key BillingCenter modules, including invoice generation, payments, delinquency processing, and workflow orchestration.

- Build reusable, scalable configuration artifacts and custom Gosu code across UI, rules engine, and data models.

- Resolve configuration and application-level merge conflicts, Cloud Assurance findings, and deployment blockers.

- Participate in end-to-end CI/CD processes, including GUnit test creation, AVF validations, build reviews, and code promotion.

- Work with DevOps, QA, and Solution Architects to validate environment readiness and deployment outcomes.

- Mentor junior developers, enforce development standards, and ensure build quality in every sprint.

Must-Have Skills :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in Guidewire BillingCenter development and configuration.

- Proven hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud implementation or migration (minimum one full-cycle release).

- Expertise in Gosu, Product Model, Billing instructions, UI/page config, plugins, and workflows.

- Experience resolving Cloud Assurance issues and aligning with cloud deployment constraints.

- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, AVF) and release automation practices.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Skills :

- Cross-application experience with PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.

- Exposure to Guidewire DevConnect, Integration Gateway (IGW), or automated document/payment integrations.

- Experience coordinating with onshore/offshore teams and leading merge readiness sessions.

Position Details :

Work Mode: Fully Remote.

Location: India or US preferred.

Time Zone Requirement: Must overlap with US Eastern Time zone until 12 PM EST daily.

Reports To: InsuranceSuite Delivery Lead Cloud Programs.
