JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to architect, design, and deliver enterprise-grade systems for the Finomics platform. As part of the Finomics engineering team, you will contribute to building a high-performance, scalable product that empowers finance teams with real-time insights and transforms traditional financial operations into intelligent, automated systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead a team of full-stack engineers through design, development, and deployment cycles.

- Drive technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and best engineering practices.

Backend Engineering (Primary Focus) :

- Architect and build scalable microservices using Java (must) and Python (good to have).

- Design secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend components.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Architect and deploy applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).

- Ensure CI/CD, automation, observability, and cloud cost optimization.

Frontend Engineering :

- Oversee frontend development using ReactJS, ensuring seamless UI/UX integration with backend services.

Data & Database :

- Design efficient relational and NoSQL schemas.

- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity for financial data workflows.

Product Collaboration :

- Work closely with Product Owners and Finomics stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver business-critical features.

- Translate complex financial workflows into scalable technological solutions.

Code Quality & Review :

- Set coding standards, perform in-depth code reviews, and mentor team members.

- Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability across the stack.

Problem Solving & Production Support :

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across backend, frontend, and AWS infrastructure.

- Ensure high system availability and performance for financial operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of total experience in software development, including leadership or team-lead responsibilities.

- Strong expertise in Java (primary backend language).

- Experience with Python.

- Hands-on experience with AWS architecture & deployment.

- Experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.

- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

- Strong API design skills (REST / GraphQL).

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-native tools.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and collaborate in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
