Lead Frontend Software Engineer - React.js/Next.js

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design of our front-end software application architecture

- Design templated, white-labeled portals leveraging micro frontend architecture

- Build scalable web applications using React, Next.js, Redux and other related libraries

- Convert visual designs to UI elements with an acute eye for detail and design fidelity

- Make web applications responsive and cross-browser compatible

- Optimize application performance and reduce page loading time

- Collaborate with our back-end API teams to develop new features

- Interact with the product manager to drill down the high level requirements to consumable stories for the team

- Collaborate with team members and perform code reviews to help drive the team technically to develop high quality code

- Responsible to make high-level design choices with required analysis for the betterment of the product

- Create and manage software development practices to maintain higher standard of code quality

- Ensure the security and data integrity of our application and infrastructure

- Troubleshoot and fix bugs

- Support our applications and our customers during and after they go live on our product

Requirements :

- Strong, clear communication

- Adaptable problem solver that gets to the crux of the issue quickly

- Developed user interfaces using the React and Next.js

- Worked on Redux with React to handle large chunks of data with great performance

- Familiar with creating custom reusable React components library

- Implemented single page applications using Grommet UI and Material UI

- Used React-Router to turn applications into single page applications

- Working experience on ES5, ES6 and Typescript features for handling asynchronous data requests

- Ability to create well-abstracted, reusable UI components

- A keen eye for producing clean and semantic markup

- Capable of working independently in fast-paced environment

- Experience integrating a modern CMS into a robust web application
