We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This is a full-time, work-from-office role, and we're looking for individuals who can start immediately or by the second week of September.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies.

- Mentor and guide a team of front-end engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define project requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.

- Architect scalable and maintainable front-end systems, ensuring code quality, security, and best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high standards for all team deliverables.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in our development processes.

Qualifications

Experience: 7-13 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or lead role.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills:

- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Strong experience with a modern front-end framework, particularly React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and building reusable component libraries.

- Knowledge of bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and build automation tools.

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
