Lead Engineer - Netcool DevOps

Job Responsibility :

- Lead & collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable Netcool platform.

- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for Netcool Application/platform and services.

- Orchestrate and manage applications optimizing performance and scalability for Telecom workloads.

- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency of the DevOps processes.

- Lead support to Development Teams in areas such as environment setup, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Guide & to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

- Lead Engineer-DevOps with strong background in Netcool.

- Extensively knowledge on mainstream OSS Product (Netcool suite).

- Improvise & implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure performance, uptime, and reliability of applications and infrastructure.

- Drive to maintain clear and detailed documentation on processes, configurations, and best practices for team collaboration and compliance purposes.

- Govern agreed SLO.

- Lead coordination with OEM on patches/fixes at Application/platform level.

- Requirement gathering and translating Business requirements into technical/functional implementations.

- Deep technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with both technical customer as well as business-oriented customers.

- Good understanding of monitoring process of Infra and Applications.

- Hands-on experience in ELK and other monitoring Tools.

- Hands on knowledge on Docker.

- Debugging skills for Infra/API issues.

- Understanding of Linux environment.

- Networking and security basics.

- Version control tools Git, SVN, Bitbucket.

Job Requirement :

- Minimum 5- 6 years of hands-on experience in Netcool DevOps across Operations and Infra for Network Inventory, topology and NMS tools.

- Good understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS.

- Experience in networking & server management.

- Experience in Linux and mainstream database (Oracle, SQL), understanding of at least one scripting language (e. shell, Perl).

- Understanding of Telecom Network domains/technologies, Access, Transport, Microwave, RAN, CEN, IPcore.

- Knowledge of any Ticketing tool.

- Knowledge of DevOps Tools (e. Confluence, JIRA) or any monitoring Tool (Grafana etc. ITIL knowledge is desired.

- Good communication skills, Team player, goal-oriented, ability to perform under pressure.
