Lead Engineer - Full Stack Technologies

Description :

We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own product initiatives end-to-enddriving architecture, execution, and delivery. You will combine hands-on coding with technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and setting best practices for scalability and performance.

Responsibilities :

- Lead design, development, deployment, and monitoring of major product features.

- Define system architecture with a focus on scalability and performance.

- Write and optimise full-stack applications (Next.js, React.js, Node.js, MySQL).

- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and set technical standards.

- Drive performance improvements (TTFB, LCP, Lighthouse) and system reliability.

- Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps for seamless delivery.

- Champion modern practices: CI/CD, testing, documentation, AI-powered tools.

Requirements :

- 6-10 years in full-stack development, with 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.

- Proven track record of leading projects from scoping to deployment.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, Node.js, REST APIs, microservices.

- Experience in system design and performance optimisation

- Project management and stakeholder alignment skills.

- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e. g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

- Experience building scalable e-commerce applications.

- Familiarity with AWS (EC2 RDS, S3).
