About the Role :


We are looking for a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Databricks, Terraform, automation, and cloud migration. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to operate in a global, fast-paced environment with rotational shifts.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead and execute DevOps initiatives across CI/CD, cloud, automation, and observability.


- Manage and optimize pipelines using Git, GitLab CI/CD.


- Operate and enhance cloud environments on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability.


- Work with Databricks & MWAA for data platform automation and operational support.


- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.


- Oversee Databricks Disaster Recovery (WarmStandby) strategies.


- Support and drive Azure-to-AWS migration activities.


- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum-based delivery environment.


- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on DevOps best practices.


- Collaborate with global stakeholders and work seamlessly in an onshoreoffshore model.


- Drive continuous improvement and adopt emerging DevOps automation tools and technologies.


- Troubleshoot incidents, ensure proper monitoring/security, and take proactive measures to enhance system performance.


Required Skills :


- Strong experience in CI/CD, Git, GitLab pipelines.


- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.


- Expertise in Databricks, MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow).


- Strong scripting proficiency using Shell Script & Python.


- IaC experience with Terraform.


- Good understanding of cloud security, monitoring tools, and observability practices.


- Proven experience in Disaster Recovery (Databricks Warm-Standby).


- Migration experience Azure to AWS preferred.


- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in global distributed teams.


- Self-driven, quick learner, and problem solver with out-of-the-box thinking.
